The 6500HD incorporates virtually all of the features of the 6500 table but also adds the advantage of extremely heavy lifting and articulating capacity. The HD version is appropriately named “Hercules”. It is capable of lifting and articulating a full 850 lb. patient load. In order to obtain this substatially higher weight capacity, component changes are made to this surgical table to reinforce the capacity of certain crucial support areas.
